Baby Steps to British Accent

 BRITISH ACCENT JOURNAL

BY: ANNE

Welcome to my Blog!

Hey Guys! I'm going to be sharing to y'all my British Accent Journal!

I've heard the British Accent before, even impersonated it , but never done it as proper as this.  This is not something i'm good at, but its never a bad thing to try new things!

So I did the "Your Turn" from my teacher's video and read a paragraph from the article
"Why the WOLRD needs LEADERS".
(Links will be placed at the end of the blog)

Unfortunately I can't place my video here since the video's file size exceeded the maximum. That's why instead I posted it in my Google Drive.

Just click the link below, and this will direct you to the video from my google drive! :))

Honestly, this is something that I've never imagine doing so. My initial thought when I started doing this was that this was going to be easy as pie, but as soon as I heard myself I realized how bad I sounded. It actually took me 3 days to record because I kept doing it all over again. Speaking in a British Accent is actually hard. It will probably take years perfecting the british accent. I realized that there are things that can't be done or perfected right away, practice makes you better, but not perfect.

If you want to learn the British Accent, My advice to you while in the process is to learn how to accept mistakes, trial and errors are normal especially while in the process of achieving something. That goes with the saying "Mistakes are not failures, but a step to success".

Thanks for reading and listening a part of my journey on learning the British Accent!
